I usually recommend having about 25 to 30 feet or more between the compressor and the filter and have the pipe tilted so that the condensed water runs back to the compressor's tank where it can be drained periodically. Once the pressure is normal, you can clean the moisture out of the bottom of the moisture trap bowl with cotton buds. Moisture in the hose, straighten it an drain out what you can, then put it somewhere warm like an airing cupboard to evaporate the moisture that is left in there.Sep 21, 2017
